Ferrell Louis "Tack" Bang

Mr. Ferrell "Tack" Bang, 55, of Gulfport, MS passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Gulfport. Mr. Bang was born in Vancleave and had been a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He was a big time fisherman and supporter of the soaps. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and would always go out of his way for others. He was strongly devoted to his family and friends. Mr. Bang was preceded in death by his parents; "Slim" and Lilly Bang; sister, Ernestine Bullock; and brothers, Goodie Ely, Donald Bang and Elmer Ely. Survivors include his daughter, Sheree (Walter) Hight; sons, Nathan (Theresa) Bang, Nolan Bang, Nikki (Meagan) Bang and Dillen Bang; sisters, Ruby Tanner, Clara Triolo, and Virginia Baxter; brothers, Smokey (Lois) Bang, Willie Bang, Norman Bang, Peter (Candy) Bang, Carl Bang and Clyde (Judy) Ely; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Vancleave where friends may visit one hour before service time.
