Forest James Shores

SSG Forest James Shores, 36, of Gulfport, died Friday, September 28 in Mobile. Forest was born on May 9, 1976 in Lufkin, Texas to James and Elaine Shores. He was dedicated to his country serving as a Sargent in the United States Army Reserves. He was also a Patriot Guard Rider and dedicated family man. His hobbies included diving and the SCA. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jenny Shores; daughter, Jessica Shores; parents, James and Elaine Shores, and a large extended foster family. Forest’s family will gather to receive friends and share memories from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the O’Neal Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport.
