Frances Catchot

Mrs. Frances Catchot, age 71, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Catchot was born on December 7, 1943, and was a lifelong resident of the coast. She met her husband, James, in Virginia and when he retired, they moved to the coast, over 37 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Adelbert Catchot Sr, her parents, Mr. Withrow and Goldie Withrow, and a brother, Jesse Withrow. Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Boren, Mary Aberunski and Melissa Stokes, three sons, James Adelbert Catchot Jr, Donald Ray Catchot and James Allen Catchot Sr, two sisters, Virgie and Sue, a brother, Jimmy Withrow, thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 22, from 6pm until 8pm, 7pm Rosary, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, March 23, there will be a 9 am chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
