Frances Annetta Paulk Reed, 86, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, in Silver Cross Home in Brookhaven, MS.
Mrs. Reed was born in born in McComb, MS April 2, 1926 to Charles Augustus Paulk, Sr. and Frances Annetta Little Paulk. She was a graduate of Summit High School, Summit, MS and was married to James William Reed, Jr., February 16, 1946. Mrs. Reed retired as a mortgage loan officer from Hancock Bank in Gulfport after 33 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bayou View.

Survivors are her children, James William Reed, Jr. and wife Rita of Hattiesburg, MS; Linda Frances Reed Hankins and husband Gary of Saucier, MS; and Thomas Charles Reed and wife Karen of San Antonio, TX; her brothers, Charles A. Paulk, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Summit, MS; James William Paulk and wife Suzanne of Diamondhead, MS; her sister, Mary Lu Paulk Redd of Brookhaven, MS; her sister-in-law Marilyn Jo Paulk of Smithdale, MS ; her grandchildren, Craig Walker and Shane Rutledge of Long Beach, MS; Jill Reed Arnold of Lagrange, GA; Matthew Reed and wife Sarah of Fort Worth, TX; Christina Annette Yoder of Waynesville, Missouri; Jason William Triplett and wife Monica of Biloxi, MS; Jennifer Lynn Bosch and husband Micah of Virginia Beach, VA; Joshua Reed and Deborah Reed of San Antonio, TX; her great-grandchildren, Jada Smith, Dallas Arnold, and Dakota Arnold of Lagrange, GA; Anaiah Reed of Fort Worth, TX; Courtney Lynn Yoder, Kaitlyn Abigail Yoder, and Kimberly Elise Yoder of Waynesville, Missouri; Kylie Renee Triplett and Emma Rose Triplett of Biloxi, MS; and David Matthew Bosch of Virginia Beach, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street Gulfport. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
