Frances L. Yancey

Frances L. Yancey, 73, of Gulfport died Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Gulfport. Mrs. Yancey was born in Columbia, MS and had been a resident of the coast most of her life. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Yancey was the retired manager of the café at Mary Mahoney’s. She was a “People Person” and enjoyed her friends at Mary Mahoney’s. She was also an animal lover. Mrs. Yancey was preceded in death by her children, Hegal L. Branch, III and Heidi Mary Marie Branch. She is survived by her former husband, Judge Hegal L. Branch JR; a sister, Ellen Rosen and her husband, Maurice of Gulfport and numerous nieces and nephews. A private service will be held. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
