Frosene Antonakos Pippin, 85, of Summerville, SC, widow of Jack W. Pippin, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her residence.
Frosene was born on March 21, 1930 in Gulport, MS, daughter of the late Peter G. Antonakos and Aline (Escobedo) Antonakos. She was an active member of the VFW in Tuscaloosa, AL for 30 years, a member of Catholic Ladies Auxilary at Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the BPO Elks 166 also in Tuscaloosa, AL. She was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.
Surviving are: one son: John Pippin (Lori) of Summerville, SC; one daughter: Diane P. McArthur of Huntsville, AL; four grandsons; three great grandsons; one niece: Phyllis Pierpoint of Metarie, LA; two grandnieces; one grandnephew. She was predeceased by her son in law, Mike McArthur, niece, Stephanie Grimm and two sisters, Virginia Cassagne and Virgin Gratton.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 5 o’clock PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. The family will greet family and friends after the service from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Burial will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 12:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
