Genevie Rose Pickich Alley

Genevie Rose Pickich Alley, age 86, of Biloxi, passed away Friday, August 26th, 2016. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved spending time with all of her family. Genevie was a lifetime resident of Biloxi. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and former member of St. John Catholic Church. Genevie is preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Duck" Alley; son, Robert Wayne Alley; her parents, Anthony (Tony) Pickich and Marie Hedges Pickich; sisters, Elizabeth Higginbotham and Anna Mae Ladnier; and brother, Anthony Pickich Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Steve) Ferrill of Biloxi, and Kathie (Rene) Anderson of Tampa, Florida; sons, Michael Alley of D'Iberville and Wayne (Brenda) Alley of D'Iberville; and grandchildren, Jason Ferrill, Josh Ferrill, Amber Brumley, Morgan Alley, Austin Alley, Zoe Anderson; great-grandchildren, Zachary Brumley, Ava-Grace Brumley, Stella Brumley, Elliott Brumley, Gemma Brumley, Gabby Ferrill, Ethan Ferrill, Cooper Ferrill, Graham Ferrill, and Lilly Ferrill. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., D'Iberville, MS 39540 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
