Georgette Juanico Acevedo was born on January 17, 1962 in Biloxi, MS to George C. Juanico, Jr. and Diane O’Neal Juanico. As a natural caring soul, Georgette received much pleasure the last 6 years by taking care of others while working in home healthcare. In her life, through all the roles she took on as a daughter, granddaughter, sister and mother, many would say her most fond role was that of GiGi. She loved her grandchildren more than words can explain, and their love for her was no less.
Left on this Earth to keep her memories close to heart are her mother, Diane; father, and step-mother, George and Kathy; her six children, Jamie, Elizabeth, Sebastian, John, Joseph and Christian; her brother, George Juanico, III; sisters, Carey Hodge, Gina Mitchell-Cook Simar and Angie Broussard; husband, Monnie Villarreal; and GiGi’s precious grandchildren, Abbi, Dominic, and Kelsey. Also, close friend Mike, as well as many others.
Her loved ones awaiting her arrival to the newest journey are her grandparents, Pat and Dot O’Neal, and George and Emily Juanico; our tiniest angel, granddaughter, Ryleigh; and John Acevedo. We will always look up, because that’s where you are. We love our GiGi….to the moon and back.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe, where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi, MS.
