Georgia V. Ladner, age 77, of Gulfport died Friday, May 4, 2012 in Gulfport. She was born in Delhi, LA and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1955. She was a member of Free Church of God.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Ray Ladner.
Mrs. Ladner is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Joseph E. Ladner of Gulfport; a daughter, Sharon Ladner Walls (Richard) of Gulfport; a son, Kevin Wayne Ladner (Cindy) of Kiln; a sister, Relda Faye Ortega of Santa Fe,New Mexico; two brothers, Melvin Lamb of Rayville, LA and Milton Lamb of Grayson, LA; eleven grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
She was the kindest woman in the world.
She loved unconditionally no matter what.
She thought of everyone before herself.
She gave of herself unconditionally.
She never complained and when you needed a shoulder to lean on she was always there.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother .
The visitation will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 5 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport. The funeral service is Monday, May 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at the Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
