Georgiana Mae Knurek

Mrs. Georgiana Mae Knurek, age 86, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Formerly of Rossford, OH and Woodville, OH, Georgia has been a resident of Gulfport, MS for the past 15 years. She enjoyed working and her favorite occupation was with Woodville Elementary School as a librarian. Georgia embraced life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and became a New Orleans Saints fan. She will be remembered as a loving wife and dedicated mother. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Knurek, Sr. and her brother, James Christoff. She is survived by two sons, Joseph J. Knurek, Jr. and Robert G. Knurek, and three grandchildren, Kyle, Chloe and Ian. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Southern Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
