On February 28, 2015, Gerald ""Little Jerry" Michael Jordan, Jr., age 42, went home to join his beloved parents, Gerald Michael Jordan and Vicki Alford Moran, in heaven.
Jerry was born May 26, 1972, in Biloxi, MS. He was a 1990 graduate of Mercy Cross Catholic High School. Jerry was a member of the Ole Biloxi Marching Club and a member of the Elks Lodge in Biloxi. He was owner of Jordan Electric and also worked as an electrician for Biloxi Public School District. The relationships Jerry created through the clubs and through his job meant so much to him. He is known for his sweet smile and his generosity and thoughtfulness for others.
Jerry enjoyed a boat ride, a beautiful day at the islands, a nice steak on the grill and most definitely, a great catch. Jerry's proudest roles in life were as "Daddy" to his daughter Caitlin and "Poppa J" to his grandson, Kaelon. His favorite hobby was being a wonderful grandpa.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandfather, Woodrow Ellis Alford; and grandfather, Raymond Ray. Jerry leaves behind: his daughter, Caitlin Breanne Gehrke; son-in-law, Richie Gehrke; and grandson, Kaelon Wade; his paternal grandparents, Rodney and Lillian Martino Jordan; his maternal grandmother, Mary Ray; his Godfather, "Uncle Pat" and Aunt Gail Jordan, his Godmother, "Aunt Rhonda" Jordan, his Aunt Dina Alford Carlisle (John Mark); cousins, Jennifer Meredith Kelly (Todd) and Chuck Meredith (Mechele); Caitlin's mother and former wife, Gina Langlinais; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
We invite you to celebrate his life with us on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time.
