Grace Husley

Sarah Grace Batton Husley was born October 12, 1927 in our time, living until the age 90 and born into eternity on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Sarah was a Christian and a member of First Presbyterian of Biloxi, with an abiding commitment to Jesus Christ. Her absence will be noticed daily and for all the years to come. Grace lived a rich life by loving and being loved. She was blessed in riches far beyond what we describe as wealth in this world. And now, the most abundant of riches are hers as she celebrates eternal life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was one of seven children, and is preceded in death by her husband, Bert Julius Husley, Sr.; her son, Frederick Ernest Husley; her sisters, who have also passed on to Heaven, Frances Lula Lane, Helen Daughdrill, Dorothy Harrell, Nezell Cluff, and Wilma Pierce. Survivors include her brother, Burras Batton; her three children, Bert Julius Husley, Jr., Jennifer Husley, both of Biloxi, MS, and Lydia Helen Husley Houck of Fairhope, AL; and three grandchildren, Sarah Marie Husley, Bryce Alexander Houck, and Reese Adam Houck. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Biloxi, 1340 Beach Boulevard, Biloxi, MS 39530. Memorial service will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Coalville Cemetery.
