Gracia "Grace" Forte Ortega Jones

Gracia “Grace” Forte Ortega Jones, 64, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Thursday, October 25, 2012. Mrs. Jones was born in Caloocan City, Philippines. She had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1974. Mrs. Jones attended the University of the East, majoring in Business Administration. She graduated with honor from Lorrain College and the New York Institute of Photography. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Perfecto J. Ortega; mother, Felipa Forte Ortega; brother, Isaiah F. Ortega; half brothers, Dr. Proceso Ortega and Jose de Vera. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joel E. Jones, Jr. of Ocean Springs; their only child, Edwin P. Jones and wife, Tracy of Antioch, TN; stepson, Joel Jones III of Louisville, KY; sisters, Jeannie O. Nepomuceno of Monterey, CA, Corazon O. Parcia of Zambales, Philippines and Purita F. Ortega of Manila, Philippines. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
