Gregory "Greg 3 " Norbert Nolte, III

Gregory “Greg 3” Norbert Nolte, III, 48, was called home by Jesus on June 5, 2015. He was born to “Mr. Greg” and “Miss Kitty” in Biloxi, Mississippi, on July 8, 1966, at Howard Memorial Hospital, and remained a life-long resident of Biloxi. He was a good son, brother, husband, and an incredible father. Greg was self-employed at D.N.P.,INC. as Executive Vice-President for over 20 years, and helped to rebuild his community after Katrina. He loved Biloxi and loved to “fish it,” winning several tournaments, and also “hit the links.” Greg was involved in his community, primarily as a coach for his children’s sports teams, but also found time to serve as a member of several boards, including The Peoples Bank Advisory and the Sunkist Country Club. He was also a practicing member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Greg is preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen “Miss Kitty” Nolte, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Martina, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory N. Nolte, Sr., and his mother-in-law, Jeannie “Muzzy” Cousins. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Nikki Cousins Nolte, and their children, Emilee Mead and William Anthony; his father, Gregory N. Nolte, Jr., two sisters, Christine (Daniel) Davis and Annette (Preston) Gerretse, and their children, Brian and Ashton Davis, and Lyndsey, Tyler, and Ian Gerretse. All reside in Biloxi. Additional aunts, uncles, and cousins survive him from coast to coast. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi. Family may visit at 9:00am and friends are welcomed at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with internment to follow at Southern Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the families have requested memorials be made in Greg’s name to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church or to the Little Sisters of the Poor in Mobile, Alabama.
