It is with great sadness that the family of Harold "Rocky" Jordan announces his passing on Tuesday, April 3, 2012.
Rocky was born in Ether, North Carolina on March 4, 1930. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base where he met the love of his life, Juliet "Nooty" Jenkins. He never left. Rocky lived in Biloxi and Ocean Springs for 61 years. He retired from the civil service at Keesler where he worked in projector maintenance for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. No one could catch or cook fish like Rocky.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carley and Nora Jordan, his wife Juliet "Nooty" Jenkins Jordan, his son, Rocky Jordan, brothers Ray and Everett Jordan and sister, Alma Loudermilk.
Rocky will always be remembered as the greatest man by his loving family.
Survivors include his daughter, Vickie (Wally) Tiblier, sister, Grace Hill, grandchildren, Crystal (Doug) Parcell, Julie (Jeff) Shepard, Jordan Tiblier, Madi Tiblier and Arrianna Dubaz, great-grandchildren, Ryker and Dexter, good friends, Bob St. Andrie, Joe Finley and Rocky Frye, and many nieces and nephews that he loved like his own children.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 6, 2012, from 12 noon until 2 pm, with a 2 pm funeral service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
