Helen Ann Henly Cyrus, age 67, of Gautier, MS, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in Ocean Springs, MS.
Ann was born on October 1, 1950, in Mobile, AL, and graduated from Baker High School in Tanner Williams, Al. She was a resident of Gautier since 1994 and retired as a florist. She was a devoted wife and mother, beloved grandmother and great-grandmother and did everything with great love and compassion. Ann spent countless hours serving her community and assisting people struggling with alcohol and drug addictions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Henly and Helen Ann Etzkoin Henly.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Cyrus, children, Charles Hackett, Monica Cyrus (Scott) Gruel and Bobby (Shannon) Cyrus, eight grandchildren, Brandy Kern, Ryan Hackett, Trinity Gruel, Olivia Gruel, Elizabeth Gruel, Garrett Gruel, Savannah Cyrus and Brenden Cyrus, four great-grandchildren, Aarron Kern, Preston Kern, Brooks Hackett and Layne Hackett and a brother, Frank (Audrey) Henly.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 13, from 6 pm until 6:30 pm, with a 6:30 pm Memorial Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The loss of her generosity, wisdom and passion will be deeply felt in her family and throughout the community.
