Howard Ray Waltman

Howard Ray Waltman, 56, of Vancleave, MS was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Vancleave. Mr. Waltman was a deacon of Bulen Church in Vancleave and he was employed by Huntington Ingalls Industries in Pascagoula, MS. Mr. Waltman was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Bang; father, Iscar “Tickle” Waltman; children, Howard Ray Waltman, Jr., Jason Henry Waltman and Douglas H. Donald; sisters, Vera Sue Bang and Alice Forehand; and brothers, Jessie Waltman and John Waltman. Survivors include his beloved wife, Lelia Frances Waltman; children Justin S. Waltman (Melissa) of Tuscon, AZ, Zachery R. Waltman of Ocean Springs, MS and James W. Donald, Jr. of Hattiesburg, MS; sisters, Laura Martinez, Sarah Bang, Pearlie Forehand and Sally Matlock; brothers, Robert Waltman and Edmond Waltman; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Funeral services will be Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. All will be held at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery.
