Ira "Buck" Bosarge

Ira “Buck” Bosarge, age 77, of Biloxi, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014. Buck was born and raised in D’Iberville and moved to Woolmarket in 2005. He worked for Barbers Milk Co. from 1963-1977. He was a fisherman until 1994. He worked for Harrison County Road Dept. until 2001 when he retired. Buck is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Isa Bosarge; and sister, Shannon Bosarge Rabine. Survivors include his wife, Allie “Nickie” Bosarge; children, Mark Bosarge, Mike (Kelley) Bosarge and Shelly Rushing; grandchildren, Amber Rushing, Lynsey Rushing, Chandler Rushing, Jake Bosarge, Clayton Bosarge, Lexee Bosarge, Caydee Bosarge, Ashley Dougas and Kelsee Rogers; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Elvin “Breeze” Bosarge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Alzheimer’s Association, MS Chapter, 1900 Dunbarton Drive, Suite H, Jackson, MS 39216. 601-987-0020 Services will be held Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Coalville Cemetery.
