Jacqueline "Jackie" Joyce Samuels

Jacqueline “Jackie” Samuels, 68, of Lucedale, MS, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Lucedale. Jackie was a longtime resident of Lucedale. She was also a longtime member of A.A. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Bell Brenson; her parents, Peter Consonery and Barbara Bush Bates; and her sisters, Patricia Picardo and Barbara Henderson. Jackie’s survivors include her daughters, Christie Henderson of Oklahoma and Faith Long of Arkansas; her son, Carroll Van Nort of Lucedale; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 25th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501. A Memorial Service will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until service time.
