Jacqueline Ruth Musial, 78, died August 25, 2016. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA to Esther Ruth Morse and Charles “Pap” Joseph Snyder. Jacky married the love of her life, Teddy “Tadju”. Along with her husband, Ted, she raised her family in Lakewood, Ohio. They moved to Gulfport, MS in 2004 following retirement to spend time with her younger grandchildren. Jacky worked full time the majority of her lifetime in multiple jobs beginning at age 16 as a server at the soda fountain in Duvalls Drugstore, Donora, PA to working as a secretary/office manager with Crawford and Company Security Corporation. Jacky was devoted to the Catholic Church as a member of St. James Catholic Church in Lakewood, Ohio and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Orange Grove, Mississippi. She served as a Stephen Minister for 27 years and as a Eucharistic Minister bringing communion to the homebound. Along with her husband Ted, received the “Light of Christ” Award in 2014. In 1992, Jacky and Ted were the Homebound Program Coordinators for St. James Church. Jacky was heavily involved in the Cursillo Movement and was a Lay director of “We are the Church” weekend retreat in Lakewood, Ohio. Mom loved her husband, her soulmate. She loved her dog Bailey Boo. She loved to attend polka dances while living in Ohio polka dancing with Ted to the wee hours of the morning. Jacky loved her family, loved spending time attending all of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She loved climbing Snyder Mountain and the Elks Camp in Ridgeway, Pennsylvania. Her grandchildren were the light in her life with her favorite thing to do with them was “shop”. She loved playing bunco with her Mississippi Bunco group, spending holidays with family and friends, attending and watching gymnastics competitions and collecting angels. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy D. Musial; her mother, Esther Ruth Morse; her father, Charles “Pap” Joseph Snyder; and her stepmother, Louise “Bubs” Snyder. Jacky is survived by her love of her life for 58 years, Ted F. Musial; daughters, Tammy L. Simon, and Terry A. (Todd) Dalton; daughter-in-law, Michele Musial (Ronnie Burrus); grandchildren, Megan E. Simon (Adam) Webster, Justin J. (Nicole) Simon, Alexandra E. Musial, Tyler F. Musial, and Cameron J. Musial; and great-grandchild, Sloane Jacqueline Webster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Chruch, Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour before the mass. Bradford-O’Keefe, O’Neal Road, Gulfport in charge.
