James Vincent Brosh, Jr., 58, of D’Iberville, MS passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in D’Iberville.
Mr. Brosh was born May 30, 1958 in Biloxi, MS to James Vincent Brosh, Sr. and Norma Jean Fields. He was a St. Martin High School graduate and received his Associates of Science Degree. Mr. Brosh received the Congressional Silver Medal of Honor as well as the Commerce Award for Notorious Heroism. He was employed as a chief engineer. Mr. Brosh enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a very well loved man who would help anyone in any way that he was able. Mr. Brosh loved the water, boating, football, Nascar and being Pawpaw. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Vincent Brosh, Sr.; his son, Benjamin Keith Brosh; and his brother, Troy Brosh.
Mr. Brosh’s survivors include his children, Lena (Jason) McCoy, Joseph Brosh and Jamie Brosh, children of Barbara Brosh; his grandchildren, Taylor Cabrera, Isabelle Cabrera, Josh Brosh, Kai Cabrera, Destiny Brosh and Benjamin McCoy; and his brothers, Kevin Brosh, Todd Brosh and Larry Brosh.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until mass time.
