James E. Bush, US Army Retired

Major James E. Bush III, age 57, of Gautier, MS, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Major Bush was born in Fort McClellan, Alabama, and was a resident of Gautier for 17 years. He served in the U.S. Army, was a veteran of Desert Storm and received the Legion of Merit. He attended First Baptist Church of Gautier. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher James Bush and his father, James Edward Bush II. Survivors include his wife, Deana Bush, daughter, Amy Kay Bush, mother, Mildred Bush and a brother, Richard A. Bush. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 10:30 am~12:30 pm, with a 12:30 pm church service, all at First Baptist Church of Gautier. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Gautier, MS. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
