James Howard “Jim” Flurry passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at the age of 66.
He was a lifelong resident of Vancleave, MS and worked at Chevron Refinery for 35 years. He retired as a Supervisor in 2011. He was an avid deer hunter and a member of the BBB Hunting Club in Shubuta County, MS.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Evelyn Flurry.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan Faulk Flurry; his three daughters, Cynthia Aycock, Jackie (Jarad) Robinson and Jody (Justin) Lott; his seven grandchildren, Erin Aycock, Austin Aycock, David Robinson, Audrey Robinson, Harlie Lott, Kayla Lott and Jenna Lott; his brother, William “Bill” Flurry; his nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Steve Harris.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2018 at the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints on Mount Pleasant Road in Vancleave, MS, with Elder Wake Inabinette officiating.
