James “Jim” Steele, 62, of Biloxi, MS died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Biloxi.
Jim was a resident of Biloxi since 1984. He worked in various engineering departments at local casinos. Jim had many awards and recognitions during his years of employment. He loved to fish and enjoyed being on the water. For those who knew Jim, they also knew about his love for ice cold beer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Edith Steele.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his daughters, Michelle (Darryl) Warrick and JoAnn (Mark) Chesser; his grandchildren, Darryl “Buddy”, Jacob, Chase, Ashlie, Desiree’ and Rylee; his great-granddaughter, Kylie. He is also survived by his sisters, Anna Cornwell, Judy Sheets and Donna Lowery; and his brother, David Steele. Jim leaves behind a host of loved ones, including his best friend, Blaine Krohn; as well as other family and friends in Ohio.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 2:00pm until 4:00 pm.
