James "Jimmy" Thomas Wise

James Thomas Wise, age 76, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Gulfport. “Jimmy” was a math teacher at Gulfport High School for 16 years and in Orlando, FL for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Sheila; his daughter, Gretchen Jones and husband Mike; his son, Sean and wife, Mel; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Regan, Bailey, Addison, Corey and Ruth. Jimmy was a wonderful and intelligent man who loved his wife, his family, his job and his animals very much. He loved to travel and he never missed a football game, especially of his Alma Mater, Southern Illinois University. A private service and visitation will be held at a later date in his home town of Ocoee, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to your local Humane Society. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
