Jane McGinnis Heflick

Jane McGinnis Heflick passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 30, 2013. Jane’s mother, Dorothy Sloop, preceded her in death. Jane graduated from St. Mary of the Pines in Chatawa, MS. She attended William Carey College and obtained a BSN in nursing and a BS in elementary education. Jane worked as a nurse in the emergency room at Biloxi regional Hospital for many years. Jane loved her work, but her love for Jesus surpassed all things. She will be greatly missed. Jane was survived by many loving friends In lieu of flowers, the Jane preferred memorials to be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church of D’Iberville, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd, D’Iberville, MS 39540. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
