Janet Adamo Williamson

Mrs. Janet Adamo Williamson, age 59, of Vancleave, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Ocean Springs Hospital, surrounded by her family. Janet was born on December 29, 1957, in Biloxi, Mississippi. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and cooking for her family. She lived in Ocean Springs most of her adult life and moved to Vancleave two years ago. Janet was a proud mother, but was even prouder of being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She attended St. Martin High School and managed Scrubs Plus in Ocean Springs. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. "Heaven is so much more beautiful with her in it." She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Adamo and Angelina Adamo, brother, John Catalanatto and granddaughter, Natalie Hightower. Survivors include her husband, Mike Williamson, son, Larry (Jessica) Hightower,daughter, Dana Michelle Williamson, stepson, Jason Williamson, grandchildren, Keagan and Kaylee Hightower, brother, Vince (Vivian) Catalanatto, sisters, Paula Black and Rosemary (Steve) Landrum, sisters-in-law, Gaylia Martin and Phyllis Williamson, brothers-in-law, Joseph Williamson, James (Edwina) Williamson and William Williamson and her numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and many dear friends. The family would like to thank the many nurses and doctors at SICU in Ocean Springs Hospital for their faithful and loving care. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 13, from 10am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
