Jean Tremmel Hebert, 78, of Biloxi lost her battle with cancer Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
Ms. Hebert was born in Biloxi where she remained a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Ms. Hebert worked for the city of Biloxi for 31 yrs. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and loved the time spent with family and friends.
Ms. Hebert is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Dorothy Tremmel ; sister, Dorothy Allman; and granddaughter, Rebecca Hebert.
She is survived by daughters, Michelle Hebert and Jill (Michael) Pol; sons, David (Tonya) Hebert, Stephen (Teresa) Hebert, and Dennis (Tammy) Hebert; Sisters Gwen (John) Cates and Cheryl (Keith) Casto; brother, Jacob (Mary) Tremmel; lifelong friend, Charles Wilkes; eight grandchildren, Rachelle Pons, Nicholas Pons, Michael Hebert, Deanna Hebert, Jamie Hebert, Jacob Middleton, Tyler Middleton, and Jayden Middleton; two great-grandchildren Julianna and Jackson Tolk.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at Nativity B.V.M. at 10:00 a.m. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
