Mrs. Jeanette Bateman Kruse, age 83, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at her home in Woolmarket.
Mrs. Kruse was born March 22, 1931 in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from Brown High School in 1949, she came to the coast where she met her loving husband of 53 years. She was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints---"Go Saints" and MS State---"Go Dawgs". She loved to swim, dance, bowl and walking the beach. She also loved to laugh because it was truly her best medicine.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Kruse, Sr.; mother, Nancy Salinas, father, R. F. Bateman; two brothers, Revel "Midge" Freeman Bateman and his wife, Jean Bateman, and Billy Bateman all of McDonough, GA; and a very dear Chi Chi of sixteen years.
She is survived by her two loving children, Alfred "Fred" Kruse and his wife Tracy Kruse, and Kay Holley; four grandchildren, Angela Holley, Andrew Holley, Trey Kruse and Emily Kruse; two great grandchildren, Taylor Holley and Hayden White; and her newest four legged friend, Lucy. Jeanette will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
