Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Madson of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017.
Jeff was beloved by family and friends. His sense of humor, compassion, care of others and faith were hallmarks of his life. While he will be deeply mourned, the legacy of love and devotion that he showed to his family and friends will be carried forward in their lives. Jeff was born in Key West, Florida to Peter and Marilyn Madson. He was a member of a Navy family, which afforded him the privilege to live all over our great nation. He married his beloved wife, Kimberly and they welcomed four children during their happy life together: son, Robert, daughter, Sarah, son, Trenton and daughter, Bailey. Jeff was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church of Marietta, Georgia. He had recently retired from Chevron.
Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Madson; father in law, Robert Edwards; and nephew, Christopher "Chris" Madson.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Madson; sons, Robert and Trenton Madson; daughters, Sarah and Bailey Madson; father, Peter (Marion) Madson; brothers, Daniel (Sandra) Madson, Martin (Adrienne) Madson and James (Kimberli) Madson; and sister, Melinda (David) Johnson. He will also be sadly missed by his mother in law, Dortha “Dot” Edwards; sister in law, Jennifer (Andrew “Andy”) Mason; a very special aunt and uncle, Norma and Jim Broussard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1:00 pm until services at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home 911 Porter Avenue Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39564. A committal will follow at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi, Mississippi. A reception will be held at the West End Hose Company Museum 1045 Howard Avenue Biloxi, Mississippi 39530.
