Jenny Brehm

Jenny Brehm, age 38, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, February 24, 2013, in Ocean Springs. Jenny was born in a car at the Dog River Bridge in Mobile County, AL on May 9, 1974. She resided with her family in Ocean Springs for the past 36 years. She was a 1993 graduate of St. Martin High school and worked at the Hardee's and Applebee's restaurants in Ocean Springs. She was an avid sports fan and loved the LSU Tigers, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Mississippi Surge. Jenny was an enthusiastic longtime participant in the MS Special Olympics and the Dream Program. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs, was a computer whiz and enjoyed creating and sending Birthday and Holiday cards to family and friends. Jenny was also well known at The Lord Is My Help for her bi-weekly donation of canned fruit. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jane and Earl Schafer. Survivors include her parents, Walter and Judy Brehm, sister, Robyn (Chris) Germany, two nieces, Sarah and Victoria Germany and her paternal grandmother, Katherine Brehm. Visitation will be on Friday, March 1, 2013, from 2 pm until 3 pm, with a 3 pm Memorial Service, at the Downtown Campus of St. Paul United Methodist Church Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to The Dream Program, Inc., P.O. Box 2040, Gautier, MS 39553. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
