Jeremy Dwayne Moore, 20 years old of Hurley, MS., died June 1, 2012, in Moss Point, MS., from traumatic injuries at the Mississippi Phosphate Plant.
Jeremy was born on July 8, 1991, in Pascagoula, MS. He is the son of Patrick D. and Vicki Brown of Vancleave, MS. and Malissa A. Good Hearndon and Lee Z. Hearndon of Hurley, MS.
Jeremy graduated from Vancleave High School in 2010 and began working at Mississippi Phosphate in 2011. He loved his job and the people he worked with. He was excited to learn and was the ultimate barterer when it came to his toys.
Jeremy loved life and lived it. He had a ready smile, a helpful hand, a friendly spirit and an easy going philosophy. He was always there for those who needed him and gave readily of his time and love.
He was a wonderful, bright, enquisitive and loving person. There are no words to express his shining personality. Not one person he ever met disliked him, nor he them. He was contagious with his laughter, smile and personality.
Jeremy, you will be missed every day for the rest of our lives!
Survivors inlcude his fathers', Patrick D. Brown and Lee Z. Hearndon, mother, Malissa A. Good Hearndon, stepmothers', Vicki Brown and Rachel Brooks, four sisters, Bailey and Maggie Brown, Courtney and Carla Hearndon, grandparents, Fran and Lester Brown of Vancleave MS and Zandra S. Walker and George Ramsey of Ocean Springs, MS, Gerald L. Good III and Francis Good of Hattiesburg, MS, Lynn and Janie Pope of Philadelphia, MS. and Janice and Bunch Hearndon of Hurley, MS. He is also survived by his extended family members and many wonderful friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 4, 2012, from 4 pm until 8 pm, at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Tuesday, June 5, 2012, there will be a 10 am chapel service in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Wade, MS.
