Jerry Lindsey McClendon

Mr. Jerry Lindsey McClendon, age 80, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Mr. McClendon was a native of Albertville, AL and a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after twenty years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was formerly employed with Cable One and enjoyed golfing at the Sunkist Country Club. He also enjoyed bowling and was a fan of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Mr. McClendon was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Marge" McClendon. Survivors include a daughter, April Miller, two sons, Van McClendon and Jeff (Sheri) McClendon; three grandchildren, Erik (Emily) Miller, Victoria (Brandon) Foote and Garrett McClendon, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, September 19, 2016, from 9am until 10:30 am at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. The procession will then leave for an 11 am graveside service in Biloxi National Cemetery.
