Jesse LeRoy Cheeseman, 54, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 in Biloxi.
Jesse was born in Muskegon, MI on July 26, 1960 to Joe Cheeseman and Barb Noel. He graduated from Gaylord High School in 1978 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He served as a Communications Cable Systems Craftsman for 17 years, later becoming a Technical Training Instructor of Communications Cable Systems for 5 ½ years. Jesse retired after 22 years of service as a Master Sergeant. Upon his retirement, he returned to the U.S. Air Force as a civilian, working as an Instructional Systems Specialist, Instructor Supervisor, Instructor, Faculty Development Training Manager and Distance Learning Training Manager,Training Specialist and Training Manager at Keesler Air Force Base. Jesse enjoyed spending time with his family and taking trips with his wife to places like Disney World, New Orleans, the beach and showing her around his home state of Michigan. He loved bowling on his Monday night bowling league.
His survivors include his wife, Renee Smith Cheeseman of Ocean Springs; his children, Eric Cheeseman, Danielle (Ryan) Guardia and Josh Cheeseman, all of Ocean Springs, Aaron (Crystal) Cheeseman of Shalimar, FL and Brent (Rochele) Grierson of Huntsville, AL; his grandson, Noah Guardia of Ocean Springs; and his brothers, Brian Cheeseman of Neptune Beach, FL and Scott Cheeseman of Mason, MI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:30 am. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
