Jo Ann "Nanny" Dubuisson

Jo Ann “Nanny” Dubuisson, age 69, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 surrounded in love with her family by her side. She was born in Gulfport and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Jo Ann was a loving mother, grandmother and “Nanny” to many children over the years. She was always there for everyone whether it was a shoulder to cry on, to make you laugh and loved you no matter the circumstances. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dubuisson; father, Fred Duprey; mother, Catherine Kennon; Brother, Mike Duprey; and sister, Jackie Boone. She is survived by daughters, Cathy Dubuisson, Denise Dubuisson, and Stacey (Shane) Brunson; son, Ray (Candi) Dubuisson; brothers, Jerry (Yoette) Duprey, Kenny (Aleta) Duprey, Ed (Theresa) Duprey, and James (Beth) Duprey; grandchildren, Shanna, Steven, Sean, Raehann, Dylan, Cassandra, Derek, Rebecca, Joshua, and Amber; great-grandchildren, Robbie, Evan, Emma and Jace; and a host of extended family members. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to Biloxi High Schools Band Boosters, 1845 Richard Drive, Biloxi, MS 39532. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Committal Shelter at Biloxi National Cemetery on Thursday, July 24, 2014. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
