Joe Morice

Joe Morice, 75, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014. Joe was born in Biloxi. He was a 1956 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a 1961 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a computer programmer with jobs that took him to St. Louis, Missouri, where he was part of the Gemini Space Program, to San Francisco, California with the Bank of America and finally to Saudi Arabia with ARAMCO Oil from where he retired. Joe was an avid sports fan with football being his favorite. His main love was music, especially Jazz. He was a world traveler, and for many years used his vacation time to see the world, but would never miss Christmas in Biloxi to visit his mother, father and grandmother. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and Vincent Morice. He is survived by his Aunt Irene Morice Schwan, Fred and Kathy Schwan, Jr. and his godchild, Freddy Schwann, III.
