Joyce B. Cox

Joyce B. Cox, age 83, a loving wife and mother, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 22, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and known as an organist. She played the organ at many churches including Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Nativity B.V.M., Heritage Methodist Church, MS City Methodist Church, First Methodist Church and others. She was beloved by all and will be missed. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Cox; her mother and father, W. H. and Edna Burgess; and her sister, Edna Mae Towner. She is survived by her son, Bruce (Jan) Garner; grandchildren, Bruce (Danielle) Garner and Harmony (Bob) Carter; and great-grandchildren, Page, Zakk, and Kole Garner and Aiden and Chris Carter. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2016, at Southern Memorial Park.
