Joyce Owen Bingaman

Mrs. Joyce Owen "Dood Groves" Kennedy Bingaman, age 83, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Bingaman was born in Vancleave where she remained a lifelong resident. She was known for her arts and crafts and was devoted to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Holloman and Charlie Bingaman, parents, W.G. and Lilly Mae Groves, Sr, brother Buddy Groves and a sister, Joe Pittman. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret "Bunny" Langley and Maudine (Dennis) Nelson, three sons, Ralph (Debbie) Kennedy, Frank (Lee Ann) Kennedy and Tim (Melissa) Kennedy, fifteen grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be on Friday, January 4, 2013, from 4 pm until 8 pm, at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, January 5, 2013, visitation will be from 9 am until 2 pm, with a 2 pm chapel service, all in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Vancleave #2 Cemetery.
