Joyce Husley Fountain, 81, of D’Iberville, MS passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in D’Iberville.
Mrs. Fountain was a native of Woolmarket and a lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a ceramics instructor at the Herbert Mullins Senior Citizen Center and retired from the City of Biloxi. Mrs. Fountain was an avid gardener.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick “Freddie” Fountain, Sr.; her grandson, Terry “T.J.” Thomas, Jr.; and her faithful four legged companion, Sailor.
Mrs. Fountain’s survivors include her daughters, Myrna (Kenny) Favre, Robin (David) Thomas and Christa (Johnny) Glenn; her son, Frederick “Freddie” (Melinda) Fountain, Jr.; her brothers, Albert (Hazel) Husley and Anthony “Doug” (Francine) Husley; her grandchildren, Amy Alexander, Beaux (Breanne) Boudreaux, Christopher Fountain, Frederick O. Fountain, Nicholas Fountain, Victoria Fountain, Lauren (Stephen) English, Jillian (Alvin) Vallo and Haley Graham Peacock; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Saad’s Healthcare for the exceptional care given to their mother.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, February 2, 2018 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
