Juanita Martinolich Greenwald, 95, of Slidell, LA went home to our Savior, Monday, April 30, 2012 in Slidell. She was born in Handsboro. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church and Altar Society in Slidell. Mrs. Greenwald was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Maurice Greenwald; her parents, Anthony and Klara Martinolich; and sisters, Irma Martinolich and Genevieve Martinolich; and a brother,Frank Martinolich. She is survived by a son, Michael Greenwald of Baton Rouge, La; and a sister, Elaine Martinolich of Gulfport; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Lewis of Slidell. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport where friends may visit at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. The family prefers memorials to St. James Catholic Elementary School, 603 West Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507, or to the charity of you choice.
