Karen H. Christensen

Karen H. Christensen, age 72, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, March 3, 2014, in Biloxi. Mrs. Christensen was born in Baltimore, MD and had been a longtime resident of Biloxi. She worked as a dog groomer. She was a member and registered judge for the American Kennel Club and the Irish Setter Kennel Association. Karen was beloved by every animal she met. Mrs. Christensen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Christensen, and her parents, Robert and Virginia Hughes. She is survived by her daughters, Ginny Christensen and Monique Harrison, and two grandsons, Damon Harrison and James Tate all of Biloxi. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Kennel Club. Private memorial services will be held. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
