Lamar Edward Seals

Mr. Lamar Edward Seals, age 67, of Gulfport died Tuesday, August 30, 2016. Mr. Seals was born to Leroy Edward Seals and Bethal Marie Greers. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School and married Martha Elaine Seals on May 1, 1972. He was Sharp Shooter in U.S. Army, Auxiliary Division. In his early years he was employed as a firefighter in Gulfport and later became a courier for Douglas Express. He loved football and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grand-kids. He never met a stranger. He will be remembered for always telling jokes and making people laugh. Mr. Seals is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Edward Seals; and his grandmother, "Big" Daisy Allen. Survivors include his spouse, Martha Seals of Long Beach, MS; daughter, Marcie Seals (Jarod) McGill of Long Beach, MS; grandchildren, Madison and Maddox McGill of Long Beach, MS; mother, Bethal (Tommy) Greer; siblings, Phyllis Seals, Bernard Dubisson and Tracy (Hansen) Dubisson; and pet, Shelby. Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September, 2, 2016. Family and friends may visit from one hour prior. Interment will be held on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
