Larry "Mac" McGill,

Mr. Larry Don “Mac” McGill, Sr., age 77, was called home to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Ocean Springs, MS. He was born in Wiggins, MS and lived most of his life in Biloxi. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, he began his career as an electrician, working for Gulf Electric in Biloxi for 28 years. He retired from Munro Petroleum. Daddy was a quiet, gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor, a heart of gold that loved unconditionally and a strong faith in God that was an inspiration to his family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Melba Delancey McGill; his parents, Lawrence and Mary McGill; and brother, Neil G. McGill. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Larry D. McGill, Jr., Lynn (Jim) LeMay, Russell (Lori) McGill, David (Christy) McGill and Tammy (Chris) Martin; his grandchildren, Chris LeMay, Jennifer LeMay, Carrie McGill, Howard McGill, Taylor McGill, Lindsey Martin and Shelby Martin; three great grandchildren; his sisters, Betty Burgess and Jane (Glen) Hawkins; sister-in-law, Dorothy McGill; and brother-in-law, Derald (Deanna) Delancey. The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to Dr. Zayed and Dr. Cobb for their compassionate care throughout the years. Visitation for our family and friends will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a 1:00 pm service all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi, MS on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Interment will follow at Bethel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Latimer,
