Laura Juanico, 80, of Biloxi,Ms. Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, March 1,2017. Laura was raised in Columbia, Ms. and moved to Biloxi in 1955. She was the owner of J&L Quikstop from 1979-1989 where she was known as “Mama Lar”. She worked at the Palace Casino from the time they opened till her retirement in 2005. Laura was preceded in death by her husband Jerry J. Juanico Sr. and her son-in-law Peter M. Kane. She is survived by sons Jay (Ronna) Juanico Jr., Joe Kane-Juanico and daughter Rona (Paul) Richardson. Four granddaughters, Heather (Brian) Marchulones, Amber Trochesset, Jenna Juanico and Brenna Juanico. Two, great-grandsons, William and Benjamin Marchulones. Two sisters Dorothy Birch and Carlene Armstrong, a special niece Cleta Miller and her brother Bill McCain. A memorial service will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 3p.m.
