Laurence Landry

Mr. Laurence Landry, age 64, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Ocean Springs. Laurence was a lifelong resident of the coast, was employed as an electrician at the Biloxi VA Medical Center for 30 years and served in the U.S. Army as a light arms specialist. He loved fly fishing, collecting antiques and was an avid history buff. He became a paraplegic in 2002 while working at the Biloxi VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara Arceneaux and Victor Landry and two brothers, James Smith and Robert Arceneaux. Survivors include his wife, Judy Landry, two daughters, Lauren Landry and Stacy (Phillip) Dunnell, two sisters, Betty Prost and Helen St. Claire, three brothers, Billy Smith, Tommy Smith and Michael Landry and two grandchildren, Anthony and Autumn. On Monday, June 23, there will be a 5pm Memorial Service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
