Leon Cleo Chisholm

Leon C. Chisholm, age 87, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Gulfport. He was born in Lorena, MS and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1966, moving from Petal. Mr. Chisholm was Baptist and a Veteran of World War II serving the U.S. Army Engineer Unit. He retired as body shop foreman from Glass Motors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Brown Chisholm. He is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Chip) Klein of Gulfport; a son, Larry (Nancy) Chisholm of Gulfport; a brother, Paul Amos of Forest, MS; four grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Bradford-O’Keefe, Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the service.
