Leslie Jane Bunce Christmas

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, Leslie Jane Bunce Christmas, beloved mother of Zachary Warren Christmas and Jessica Christmas Richardson, departed this earthly world.. She was abundantly loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Christmas moved from New York to become a student at USM and fell in love with the MS gulf coast. After 13 years working at GCRL she became a crossing guard for Ocean Springs and later a newspaper carrier for the Sun Herald. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Christmas III, of 20 years together; their spirits will reunite. Survivors include her children Zachary and Jessica, brothers, Jon Stanley and Warren Sylvester Bunce, 3 nieces and 5 nephews. To honor her for the love and generosity she showed to others, there will be a memorial gathering on April 7, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Nancy Christmas, 132 Pine Dr, Ocean Springs. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
