Lloyd Kevin Seymour

Lloyd Kevin Seymour, age 56, passed away in D’Iberville, Mississippi on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Lloyd was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and attended D’Iberville, St. John’s and Biloxi schools. He was a lifelong resident of D’Iberville, a Catholic and worked in the roofing, painting and plumbing fields before disability retirement in 2007. He loved reading the newspaper, riding his bike, being outdoors, listening to music and chatting with “old timers” at the local breakfast hangouts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindus J. (Verda Mae) Seymour, Sr., and Laura Mamie (Stevenson) Seymour and his brothers William “Lyle” Seymour and Lindus J. Seymour, Jr. He is survived by his sister Linda Jo (Merell) Matlock, brothers Leon C. Seymour and Lyman M. (Katie) Seymour, half-brothers Andrew Parker, Sr., and Charles “Douglas” (Sharon) Parker, and half-sister Diane M. (J.D. Ladner) Creel, and many nieces and nephews. Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements with no services currently planned. Friends and family are encouraged to donate to a church or charity of their choice in Mr. Seymour’s memory.
