Lonnie Calvin Pack, 75, of Saucier, MS died peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 1, 2017 in Saucier.
Lonnie was a native of Dalton, GA and a resident of the coast since 1970. He was the former owner of Carpet Time and Your Floor Store. Lonnie was a member of Church of Christ. He was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, the Atlanta Falcons and the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Lonnie enjoyed writing poetry.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Rouse; his parents, Henry and Naomi Pack; his siblings, Lester Pack, Catherine Couch and Barbara McMahan.
Lonnie’s survivors include wife of 43 years, Dona Johnson Pack; his children, Lonna Pack (Jonathan) Young, Teresa (Sammy) Stockman, Lora (Brian) McDonald, Deron Pack and Dean (Nina) Rouse; his sister, Wanda (Pete) Nations; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
