Louie Baca of Ocean Springs, MS passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Ocean Springs at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Baca served his country in the Korean War and retired from Sup Ship Pascagoula after 40 years of Civil Service. Louie was a gentle, kind, big hearted and generous man who loved his family, pets, music, laughter and the easy lifestyle on the coast. He will be joining in Heaven, his parents, Elfego and Amalia Baca; two brothers, Greg Baca and Horacio Baca; two sisters, Gricelda Ortega and Rachel Baca; and his in-laws, William and Dorothy Clegg. He leaves behind cherished memories to his devoted wife of 46 years, Joan; sons, Shannon and Shayne; two grandchildren, Drew Baca and Maddey Miller; and sisters, Rosalie Beach and Stella Dubbins. A Memorial Celebration will be held at the Forrest Avenue Pier on Back Bay Biloxi at 7:30pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
